Here's the video of a character I did for class, Sculptural Texturing. First we had to draw a concept, and then model it in 3D in maya, and finally add detail in ZBrush. Did the textures on Photoshop and ZBrush, and the video with AfterEffects.
I'm pretty happy with the concept, but the end character is a bit... lifeless. I don't know how to rig though, so no pose.
I don't know if I'll be using any of these programs again (except photoshop). I'm done with the classes involving maya and zbrush, and it sure is a nice knowledge to have in the future. I enjoy plain old school drawing more though.

more studies and doggy sketches
Don't have much new, so I resort to post some old sketches.
I haven't been doing much studies lately, I started drawing for the webcomic Loaded Dice: http://www.rdinn.com/comic.php
Two pages a week is a tight schedule for me, and I'm bad at inking and many other things in there, but I only know of one way to get better, so I'm trying.
It's finals too. I'm tired, overworked, and I can't wait for the break.

Peruvian llama
My sister is currently living in Peru, the llama country. So when the opportunity came in class to illustrate a man/animal, well... this kind of came to me.
It's a refined sketch on which my next painting will be based. It'll be done imitating CF Payne's technique, which uses colored pencils, acrylics, watercolor, oils... and some other things.
We'll see how this turns out.
